Alma Pearl Street (1892-1971) received an acknowledgment of her service to the Presbyterian Church in 1968.  At this time a short biography of her life was recorded.  (This is the link to that story)

She states being born on the Barbreck Plantation.  One afternoon I found a blog from someone looking for the Barbreck Depot.  This is primarily a railroad enthusiast blog but the writer went on his motorcycle and found and took pictures of what remains of the Barbreck Plantation.  If you look closely you can almost see how it must have looked over a hundred years ago.  Here is the link  (http://historyhunts.blogspot.com/2008/12/barbreck.html)

The Barbreck Plantation at one time was the home of Roberts, Daniels and Streets.
